Courseware Licensees

A Courseware Licensee is a student who is “active” in a Yellowdig Community, where a student is active in a Community if they posted or commented in that Community.

Courseware Licenses

A courseware license is a Community "seat". Courseware Licenses are calculated on a per-student, per-course basis, meaning that one student can occupy several "seats" during an academic term. This number is always calculated separately each academic term, and fees are assessed either on a rolling (term-by-term) or annual basis.

Examples

• One student takes 3 courses that use Yellowdig in Spring 2021 = 3 courseware licenses
• Student A takes 2 courses using Yellowdig, while student B takes 1 course using Yellowdig = 3 courseware licenses
